Man United Zone (utdzone.co.uk) is the website of @ManUnitedZone on X. We are an independent fan site and are not affiliated with Manchester United Football Club. This page explains how we report and how to get something corrected.
How we report
- We credit our sources. When a story comes from another outlet or journalist, we name them and link to the original report.
- We keep facts, reports and opinion separate. Confirmed facts (club statements, match data, on-record quotes), reports from named outlets, our own opinion and speculation are worded so you can tell which is which.
- Quotes are word for word. We use quotes as they appear in the source. If we fix an obvious typo, the correction is shown in [square brackets].
- We don't present rumours as fact, and we don't get around paywalls to copy other outlets' work.
How articles are made
Articles are written with AI assistance for Man United Zone, built from credited reporting and checked against the original sources before they are published. They appear under the Man United Zone Desk byline.
Images
We use freely licensed images, such as photos from Wikimedia Commons, and credit the photographer and licence under each image. We don't use club or photo-agency press images.
Sponsored content and affiliate links
If an article is sponsored, it is labelled Sponsored and says who it was produced with. If an article contains affiliate links, it says so at the top of the article.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, tell us through the contact page (choose “Correction”) or email [email protected]. We correct factual errors, and when an article is changed after publication the page shows the time it was updated.
Comments
Comments are checked before they appear. We don't publish abuse, spam or personal information about other people.
